right guys.
new clutch cable, new clutch etc all for my 16v build.
cables on and connected tot he fork and pedal and 2 nuts ont he clutch cable tightened down to the bushing. my pedal inside the car is still on the floor and not in the air
im stuck for ideas
any help would be nice. MOT's thursday !!!!

You replaced that bushing you lost? I take it you ran the cable through the bellhousing properly?

yes adam the bushing washer and 2 nuts i now have and they are on the car.
should the cable be run from inside the car or fed into the car?
ive fed mine into the car because the other end is too big to even fit through the hole with out enlarging it
Could that be the problem?
it seems if i pin the cable on an external part to pull the plastic tight it seems it works but damages the sheathing.
so some help is really needed.

Post pics of where it enters the car, pedal end attachment, and bellhousing attachment, also a pic of the inspection hole on the bellhousing, i want to see EXACTLY what you have done.

Ive sorted it
from where i was underneath the car i didnt see the bloody socket the sheath plugs in to on the bell housing! now its all fixed!
