You have to take it off from the back. There's a big nut holding the hub on from behind. I can't be more specific as my haynes is 6 miles away, and the relevant Volvo technical manual hasn't been uploaded to the site yet.
Pretty big job mind, probably easier to just fit a whole new axle (especially if you've had a 'disagreement' with a kerb and could have bent yours. I damaged my OSR bearing when I went through a pothole totally sideways (bloody council).

Hi mate.
I Had the same problem with my 360. Jack up car, take wheel off. You then need to unbolt the half shaft at the hub end.Only 6 bolts. when the half shaft is clear you will have access to the nut. You will need a hub puller also.Good luck with the job. Mine was a real b*****d to get off.
Cheers Mark.

Aye sorry, forgot to mention you need to remove the shaft. 6mm hex bolts x6, then the big bugger is something like eleventy billion mm, but you might not be able to see it for thick grey grease.

It'll totally depend on how rusty your bolts are, there's a small chance you might not even get the driveshaft apart if the hex bolts on there are goosed. It'll not be too bad if they're in good nick though. Good luck.
