Twin carbs

I'm told the 240 engine had a twin-carb manifold in production at some point..

anyone know if these are still available, what carbs does it use, and most of all, what model of 240 had this?

any ideas? id rather fit a volvo product than getting a fabricator to make me a manfold and use carbs that dont really suit the engine

Cheers

Still have the same fuel consumption probs with these as you would with webbers. I'm sure the 240's never had twins.

I'd imagine if it did have, it'd be the same as amazons etc with twin SU's? Do the bxx manifolds fit bxxx?

The amazon/140/P1800 B18/B20 manifolds are totaly different. The B20 exhaust and inlet are on the same side (like B172) as where the 360/240's are on opposit sides

Got a pair of recently rebuilt Weber 40's, K&N filters, linkage and Facet fuel pressure regulator if you do decide to go this route.

I'd be very tempted to change your camshaft at the same time.
