Every year, "Oldtimer Markt" brings out a magazine featuring classic car values. In odd years, tha mag lists the value of cars built up to around 1975. In even years, they focus upon "future classics" (called "Youngtimers" here): cars from 1975 to the early to mid-nineties.
Here goes (poor pics):
340/360 series 2006
340/360 series 2008
OK, it's not that much

But I thought it might interest someone. Hang on to your GLTs
Condition 1: brand new, straight out of a museum
Condition 2: equivalent to a 3 year old used car with no more than 100.000 kms on the clock
Condition 3: full MOT, no immediate work needed, but some dents, scratches, superficial rust
Condition 4: work needed for MOT
Condition 5: a parts car

Hi Tom.
I read resently in classic car weekly that here in the UK a top spec 360 GLT is worth up to £1200 quid.
cheers Mark.

I'd love a Mk2 360 GLS in that light metallic green on them alloys

Interesting, pics don't show MkIII version, perhaps nobody wants such
Prices here seem to be somewhat in that range, but we just drive our parts cars as daily drivers

We had 2 taxation day's in the NL last year. I did my 360 GLS saloon too.
Prizes ranged from 2500, up to 7000 I believe.
- My GLS did 3500. Its a reasonably nice car, just little rustspots at the front fender, some normal assecoiries (for now, will get more)
- A 343 DLS in pretty good nick, did 7000 on the counter.
- A nicely restored 360 GLE did also 7000.
And ive heard someone who has done its 343, and it ended up over 10000
Edit: There was even a 1.4 340 GL with 520.000 on the clock, who got 2500 on the paper I believe.

This is quite a good price for a Mk1 300 ...

Somewhere between "condition two" and "condition three" ...

Update for 2011:
You can tell how in Germany the tax-free bracket after 30yrs makes a difference. No change in MkIIIs though.

Here prices are probably some 20% higher, which is usually situation when comparing our prices to prices in Germany.
Hmm, prices have gone up quite a bit since last time I checked, now I could get over 1000 even from my 360 if I put it together and get MOT, increase of 50% in a year, you don't get this good investments at stock market
Also vario would be over 1000 and I did pay 400 from it not so long ago
