Proper old style V3M meet - Currently postponed

We havn't had a "proper" V3M goes to a museum meet for ages... so, I reckon we need one organising.

I've been trying to work out which of the big musuems we havn't done, and which are actually open before March (most are shut). Therefore, here is the proposal:

Brooklands Musuem http://www.brooklandsmuseum.com

Those of you who have been will know what it's about, and they normally like have car clubs turning up (the Thames Valley Allegro Club have a predifined day...) some clubs get to have the Test Hill to play on too, I'd certainly like to see if thats possible but until we ask we don't know. There is a fair amount of museumage (with some fun cars) and normally some planes too. Google earth shows the old circuit known for it's banked corners and silly speeds when people drove pram wheeled stick frames with 26L engines strapped to them

So, before I go asking, would there be interest? I'd propose Feb, there is a Something in the Air aviation day on Sun 15th, otherwise either the 8th or 22nd Sunday for a V3M only day?

I'd be in, fingers crossed. Be good to meet some of the waifs and strays from the forum.
Anywheres good.

As long as theres cars and crack.

The good kind. Not the bad kind.

:D Hopefully not, touch wood. Although i havent driven in the past 2 weeks due to the dam engine mounts bar being screwed lol, But once thats fixed and i have a new dizzy cap the car "should" be ok lol.

I swear getting a new dizzy isn't meant to be, partco gave me loads of wrong ones so i went to halfords and got one which split in 2 a soon as i placed it on and then when i returned it they didnt have anymore, then on the way home from halfords the engine mount bar snapped and i ended up being towed home which as sad as it sounds was quite fun lol.

But yea all should be fine once i get the bar and dizzy sorted.

Ok, why don't we say the 8th, its far enough away that we should be good for most.

I'm on night shift on the 8th so couldn't make it. 22nd is better for me, though I'll go with the flow, and may still be able to book the Sunday night off and come along regardless.

I'm sure we can say 22nd then John as no one else has said either way. All opposition say something now or don't complain later...
