I just bought a new toy, veeery useful for ours cars!
I've ordered some parts for my C70 (renewal of the whole handbrake system) and, because the contact is good with the parts department of a Volvo dealer when I ask parts for the 300 series (rare!!), I've asked if it was still possible to order a special tool. The answer was "normally yes" but it can happens that the stock is over in Sweden.
I was sooo happy to see that the tool finally arrived! I won't say what it is, you've to guess that! I'll just say one thing, it can be used on the 300 and 66 series!

Lot of donors cars and parts... V3M for life!
This time last year, door hinge pins were still available for 300s (I had them replaced on the GLT) but I don't know whether that's still the case today ...
I went to the local dealer's parts desk today, and ordered:
1 pcs. tool 9995937 (yes, still available)
8 Hinge pins
1 CVT belt set
Also got a 4l can of Volvo coolant.
However, I tried to get the check strap pins, they were NLA. So were the dust caps for the hinge pins.
I also knew in advance that the clutch adjustment shims were NLA but still tried to order them. Yup, none found. Does anyone have one spare shim (the thickness doesn't matter) so I could make manufacturing files for laser cutting?

Yup the prices are a bit stiff here in Finland (Keskusautohalli):
Tool 9995937: 70,39 euros
CVT belt set 3266545: 252,03 euros
Hinge pins though were 1,04 euros per piece. I ordered P/N 3140643 but on the invoice they're listed as 959223 for some reason. Maybe that's the same reason why they're still available i.e. used in some other Volvo besides 300-series?
