Build it!

Remember: The std. gearbox will handle about 300 bhp. So that could get a weak link. But hey...From 110 bhp to 300, is a long way...Just start building! And show us your pics!

Hi again guys.

Glad u like my project. :D

I installed the rest of the missing pieces yesterday, so i am gonna try starting up today. sm4

I will take some more pictures and post for you soon.

lets say the space in the engine room is WERY limitided at the moment, i was hopeing for more space so i could do a 16v convertment.

besides that, is everything going nicely along with the build.

this forum has saved me alot of work, and given me many nice ideas.

i build cars as a hobby and got freinds that is offical volvo mechanics so this has been really easy.

Look forward to more pics, good numbers for a start too. What boost pressure was that at? It looks like a custom manifold too?

well, now the pics are here for your interest.

Racing seats and 5 point camlock:

Custom manifold:

Hot turbo after test drive:

some tech details so far.

Turbo pressure: 1,2 bar
Fuel pressure: 3,5 bar
Fuel chip: Stage 2
Beating horse power: 205 ++

i have ordered a Stage 3 chip, the S60 fuel injectors will be installed and the turbo pressure increased to 1,5-1,7 bar and fuel pressure increased to 4 - 4,5 bar.
The horse power then will increase to 280-300 hp.

hope this cures your curiosity. :)

i will post a video of the car and me in action, i just need to make one first ;)
