Nightmare.See ya in a fortnight
Nah.Nowt's impossible on these but remember an easy job on a 20yr old car will still be a PITA when everything's seized solid, rounds off etc,etc.............you get the idea.

Easy enough if nowt's rusted stuck. I recommend plusgas (like posh wd40), a 24" breaker bar and a good set of 6-sided sockets. If you have all that you'll have no bother. I recently swapped one as part of the rebuild of my blue 3dr, most of the fixings are 17mm so there should be enough meat left on them to get a good hold, unless the car's a total grot.
The job's a lot easier than on a car with a live axle. Just undo the brake hose (driver's side, only one), loosen the outer driveshaft bolts (be careful to get a good 6mm hex key in there, they're easy to round off which is almost catastrophic). This gives you access to the heads of the bolts holding the dedion beam to the leaf springs. Undo them and simply withdraw the entire beam.
To quote Haynes, "refitting is a reversal of removal".
If it helps I have a solid beam here with a noisy O/S bearing you can have cheap.

Thanks for the advice people
Erm your a bit far away for me to come get the rear beam mate, but thanks very much for the offer!
Ive managed to source the parts i need from a scrappy local.... Bit dear but its close to me and i need it fixed soon!
Hopefully taking the diff out while its being done to get some weld in there
And just generally service the whole rear end. (no pun intended)
Cheers
Scott
