what differences if any in the floorpans are there between same yr 340 and 360??????

Only ever had 360s so I'm as per the title.

I know about fuel tank but owt else of note?????????

I think bodyshells are same, 340 shell should have even gearbox mounting holes of 360 in it's bodyshell what I have heard.

That is late 80's models that I have heard of this, but I hope others could confirm that.

hasnt one got a spare wheel well? in the boot.

Good point-wheel well in 360.
Not in 340-your pic shows spare strapped in engine bay.That's not a problem as such.

Anymore, it's MK2's I'm bothered about if it makes a difference.

340 had fuel tank in place of spare wheel well and spare wheel at engine bay?

360 has fuel tank under rear seat area and spare wheel at spare wheel well

wasnt sure if that was a 340/360 difference, or some thing that started on both, then was discontinued in favour of bootwell.
less front pannel. I.e gap between headlight bottom and bumper.
But again, I dont thik thats going to bother you much.

You looking at a 340 to comp?

Hmm........ maybees-just trying to get a plan together.

I could check part numbers from dealer machine at Friday if that would help?

Pretty sure the floorpans are the same. The 360 "saddle-bag" fuel tank fits perfectly in the slot where the vario from a 340 would go. And the cooling ducts for the vario are there on a 360 too, even though a fuel tank presumeably doesn't need cooling

Mk1's and early Mk2's dont have the threaded holes for 360 engine mounts, gearbox mounts also differ - search for foggy's Mk1 conversion and you'll see what I mean.
