Hey people, now ive got the volvo back up on the road im in need of a new steering wheel that isn't so big. Looking at leather really and mid sized so its still ok with non-power steering.
Anyone know any cheapish wheels?
and what bosses etc. fit?

Scotty, Ive got a correct 300 mountney boss for sale.
Theyre rare as hens teeth, and you can pick up a wheel on ebay easy enough.
Its the older, larger boss, but theres LOADS of decent leather sports wheels knocking round for them.
It retains horn function and indicator cancelation, which youll probably lose with a modified boss. Its as good as you can get, as its manufacturesd for 300s.

If you want it, pm me dude.
If you buy a wheel from ebay with a different boss, you can always sell that on to cover some of your costs.

205 bosses do fit, but need a serious bit fabrication to retain the horn on the wheel and indicator cancelation.
Ive never heard of r5 bosses fitting before.
Good piece of knowledge there dude.

Luisi has a boss-kit for 300-series which has the common 6-bolt pattern. (Momo etc...) I'm using one with the original R-Sport wheel.

Proving hard enough to organise one single meet that involves nobody spending money.

Looks kinda funky man.
Makes my think of a VW beach buggy for some reason.
Red wheel verdict = Win.
