So much time since I wrote my last post! My car has changed a lot since then (I promise to post some more photos).

The problem I have is that the electric fan doesn't work. Both in high engine temperature or whith aircon switched on, it doesn't even move, and I think that I need to change the part.

I've some questions:
¿How can I check by myself if is an electric problem, or I just have to change the fan?

¿Would this part fit?

Which fan is it you need, the fan in front of the condensor (A/C cooler), or the water radiator fan? If I remember correctly, the cooling fan for the water radiator is different to "normal" 360s - the fan shroud is shaped differently. Let's hope it's "just" an electrical problem, finding the right fan might prove difficult.

I've been looking for A/C parts for over two years now and all I have is a compressor bracket (thanks, Andy BTW)

Really I'm not sure, but I think that is the water radiator fan. If it works, this is the location; just in front of the radiator and behind the plastic grid:


The problem is that when I keep the car stopped because the traffic for many times, the temperature goes hell high and I've the feeling that any day, the engine will break up if I don't repair it!

That sounds like the condensor fan you're describing. The water radiator fan is between the radiator and the engine, within a plastic shroud. Does that one come on?

Maybe Andy (pettaw) has an idea?

the airconditioning fan doesn't have anything to do with engine coolant temperature.. the flow-restriction of the airconditioning system is minimal.

the 360 has the visco-coupled fan attached to the engine. normally when engine is warm you should feel a fairly hard breeze behind the fan if engine is running.

i think you'll be best of with flushing the complete coolant system, there could be a block in it.

The visco fan seems to work properly; good to know that I don't have to change it urgently!
Anyway, hope I can swap the broken electric fan. Do you recommend the internet shop I posted? Seems serious

It's a good idea to flush the coolant system. Probably nobody has done it for 20 years, and overall functioning will be better.

wow... in that case, i bet that this is the problem for sure

Do you have fan shroud (cover of fan)? If that is missing cooling is not as good as it should be.

Also thermostat is something to replace if not yet done.

I'll clean all the system next time I change the engine oil and I'll tell you.

Does the one fitted have a part number on it? That might help with the search (and would be interesting for me too )

I've tried to search for the number, but I don't know how to disassemble the front of the car to search for it.
I'll try to look for it when I take the car out of the garage because there is absolutely impossible to work on something.

By the way, fantastic idea!!

Taking the radiator grille off is easy, you don't even need tools! There are two twisty bits on either side. Be careful with the lugs on the bottom of it though, they break easily.

The bumper is also easy to remove, if you have to. Just remove the bumper bolt covers and unscrew the screws.
