Sender thread size and few questions

Does anyone know the thread size in Volvo 66 1300 engine on water temp sender and oil pressure sender?
I also need the thread info on the sump plug.
Also if anyone can tell if the 300 and 66 rear shock absorbers are same?
I found oil temp, oil pressure and water temp gauges and will order senders when I know the right thread sizes.
I also have a set of 300 monroe air shocks with control panel and I thought of fitting them...

Don't know the sender threads off the top of my head.
I have it written down what the sump plug is, but I'm not at home until Monday night. Same as a Renault, magnetic versions available and it has a 10mm sq hole in it.
66 rear shock? Can you not still get them from KYB? Don't think they're technically the same.

KYB 443063 listed as Daf 66 and Volvo 66 rear shocks ... Doubt they'd fit a 300.

Tom, the OPs question is a bit vague. I was guessing it was about fitting 300 rear shocks to a 66. I don't know the answer to that, but was thinking why bother when you can get ones for a 66?

Why bother? I have air shocks for 300 (the ones you can raise the rear from switch on dashboard)...if they'd fit they would be nice extra.

Well why didn't you say! Are they Nivomat or something like that? Maybe if I get some time and good weather I can measure a 66 shock to see what the fully compressed and fully extended lengths are.

"a set of 300 monroe air shocks with control panel"...I tried
This is a set with compressor and air lines to the shocks. Similar to 200-series ones but for 300.
I had this set in my old 360 and was quite pleased with it.

Getting back to the
sump plug,
IMS Verbindungstechnic (PDF), have a sump plug catalogue.

Non-magnetic.

Magnetic.
These two plugs would be useful, as would the catalogue data. Don't think Renault dealers will have anything, A gear box filler/drain plug or sump plug from a Peugeot 106 might be a similar size. Cannot confirm this, but a local dealer may be able to. Although I know for sure that they use a 8mm square key.

Thank you. One down.
Now I need a M16 oil temp sender to use as a sump plug for my oil temp gauge. VDO has one for Saab 900 that has the right scale too 0-150 celsius. This is how it's made in VDO gauges. With sump plug or dipstick senders.
Like this one:

Here are the VDO numbers:

Any idea on oil pressure and water temp warning light threads?
With dual pole sender (one for light and one for gauge) with 0-120 scale I can fit water temp gauge and with oil pressure sender with dual poles the pressure gauge. This will still leave the original functions and wiring intact.

Some interesting information returned there too. Thanks.
I'll look up the other two things. I was falling asleep at the keyboard last night!
