heating control lighting

as there was no light in heating control so i thought the light bulb was bad, but when i put out the radio and took of that metal plate under the heating control the light bulb was just hanging on wires, and i have no idea where to put, squize or conect it. I tried to find the corect place for it but couldn`t manage do that. So if anyone know and can explane or even maybe has a photo or sceme it would be nice.
