went to my local scrappy today, wasnt much there tbh. then as i was walking away, out of the corner of my eye, saw a rather boxy looking car, turned out to be a volvo.

popped the bonnet, found a rather tasty looking redblock B200FT under the bonnet.

would i be correct in thinking they are a direct fit in a 360? but not so in a 340? what would i need? the bell housing from a 360? mounts? didnt have much time to look but are they still carb on them? what turbo? how much boost is run?

if it is a pig to fit, is there any bits i could take off it and put in my b172? like the cams or carb? the vehicle in question is a j reg 940

fraid not.
If you can get it cheap, sell it on then you might get some pennies toward a nice 1.8 turbo or a valver.

Cam and carb? FIrst of all the 940 is fuel injected... secondly the cam in standard B200FT's is a 'T' cam and it's rubbish, you might as well be driving a diesel ;)
