This is a very rare car in the UK, same colour as my Mum's old 345GL, didn't even realise this colour lasted til 1983!

1983 - that was the first year for B19s in the UK wasn't it? Great-looking car, bronze (brown

) suits it soooo well ...
Chuck the CD player out and you've got a true classic.

I absolutely love it, if I didn't already have my GLS I'd be going for this!
Can tell how early it is due to the quarter lights, wrong sided wipers, mirrors and non black number plate panel!

I'm working in Guilford atm, it's south M25, I've seen a few 300's there recently... more than Soton anyway.
Looks a nice car

... also the huuuge wheel arch gaps. Volvo lowered the "1984 on" cars by 10mm (front) and 15mm (rear) ... to an absolutely sufficient level IMHO

you can also see it at the doors, the '83 340's and 360's have 2 windows in the front doors like the 343's and 345's, at MY84 and further this pillar was dropped to single glass

... and if the owner had opened his bonnet, you would immediately notice the lack of Renix and the old-style cooling system

Gentlemen, my Nerdometer (tm) is nearly off the scale.
Can you tone it down a bit.

Hahaha... Glad to say I was out nerded by Tom
I always found it unusual that other 360's I've seen the same colour as Hell Drivers GLS have had pin stripe brown interior... whereas my Dad's 345GL had a kind of dark green/grey, always wondered why they thought brown/beige would go with light green??

Mad colour clashes - very much the spirit of the seventies / early eighties

I love all of these eyesore red / green interiors and garish paint jobs. I have to admit I'm not too keen on the Daf-style brown dash fitted to '76 and '77 cars, despite its rarity ...
