i have the same engine but on injection and i'm currently getting less lol. I'm guessing 24's good for a carb.

Is that around town? Hope so! My GLS does 28-34mpg on a long run at 50-60ish. (lower figures for mixed roads, best figure on the motorway). Not checked round town/cold engine driving figure as I don't tend to use it for short trips, but I'd think it would do maybe as low as 25 with lots of stop start or heavy acceleration/braking type driving.

I've never ever bettered 35 mpg (imperial) with my 360. Average is about 28 mpg, around town in winter on short stop/start journeys it can go down to about 15 mpg :?
