What Volvo engines are out there that will fit

Is there any other Volvo engine out there that will fit in my 360 that will put out more power figures cheers all

B21 to increase to 2.1 non turbo and can be found in early 240's

B23 and B230 to increase to 2.3 non turbo and be found in the 240, 740 and 940. If fitted with a dizzy at the back of teh engine then you will need to swap some parts over to convert back to side dizzy.

For Turbo power all the turbo engines as fitted to the 7 and 9 series will fit with a little bit of jiggling.

All the B19, B21, B230, B200 and B230 engines can be used and share teh same bellhousing pattern. There is nothing actualy stopping you going backwards and fitting a old school B20!

A 94 on B230FK / B230FT are the strongest and most common (940). FT is a higher boost pressure ~7psi, but only difference is the wastgate actuator.

Physical motor dimensions would say yes but with the mountings drivetrain adaptations etc probably wouldn't be easy at all.
