Myself and one other car nut are intending in September this year to do a Run to the Sun.
We will be leaving N. Ireland and taking a ferry to France and then drive to Northern Spain via the west coast of France, crossing into Spain and then across to Barcelona. The return trip will be either the reverse or a straight up the country dash home.
Each day will entail a 300 mile drive and we will be staying in cheap motel type accomodation. We will be away for 10 days from Friday 24th September 2004 till Sunday 3rd October 2004. These dates are not fixed in stone as yet.
My wife and I will be taking my kitcar, Sylva Striker, and as such will be travelling light.
Would anyone here care to join us for what should be a good laugh?
It does not matter what you drive so long as it is reliable. We will have rescue breakdown cover as insurance. You will need to sort this for your selves and your boat/tunnel fare as well. We will be doing this on the cheap but you can live it up if you like.
