Drifing vid...

Post by ducatievo » 18 Dec 2005 11:18 pm

Got a 28mb vid clip that someone recorded recently or a few peeps (bro with volvo included) playing around at night on a roundabout.

Was the first time my brother had met up with them, needless to say they were impressed with how the Volvo went!

If anyone can host it let me know and I'll mail it to you.

:D

Try hosting it using putfile.com. Or you could use yousendit.com where you don't need to register enter some1s email address (doesnt matter who it just sends the link to them) then once its uploaded it'll give u a link and then just copy and paste that here! Im dying to see this!
cheers

Nice drifting going on there, the 340 is in its element on slippy roundabouts

Is that 340 of your brother souped up? Can a 1.4 do this on a roundabout?
Leather, leccy windows and mirrors, snowcap, foglights, open air filter, black roof upholstery. What more do you want? >a 2.3 turbo!

It's a 1.7 with a welded diff, oh yes it can drift :) A 1.4 without a welded diff can get quite sideways - they're even more tail happy than 360s!

Very nice vid :D looks very controllable, now all he needs is that R19 lump in and he can get making smoke in the dry

:D havn't played in a carb 360, but the 1.4's are the most tail happy of the others.

With some mud on the road the other day I had back out in second, wheel spin and grappling in third, then whell spin in fourth, which was fun ;) The 1.4 will go sideways easily in the wet on a corner, will slide if puhed in the dry (1.4 vs '60glt sideways round a roundabout I think got edited out of the MK vid, but that was fun ;))

EDIT: That video is well cool!!! I need a new car and a welding torch!
