Brake stuff

Post by Jason B »

Hi,

A bit broad I know, but I'm basically looking for any new/reconned brake bits particularly the vacuum side of things as I'm pretty sure I have a hose which collapses resulting in loss of vacuum assist. I'm also interested in master cylinders etc

Cheers

Jason

He means the big fat pipe between the servo and manifold that has a habit of collapsing internally ;)

And Jason, it's a hose ffs, try Volvo :P

wow chris, funny thing is thats actually not what I'm looking for, I'm doing a general shout out for any brake bits as I'd like to refresh as much as possible. A nice new hose should already be on its way this is just a general post. No need to be rude just because your engine had a hissy fit and died on pc2 :P

and I nearly got run over pushing a small british leyland hunk out of traffic hence missing cmb and not having time to plot cmb clues either. Which with a first time nav I think we did pretty well. :)

Only cos I was driving something silly and French powered  But at least mines only French powered hey Mick ;)

PTF is looking good now... realistically it'd pwn Fake at any opportunity, just I've got a more experienced nav!

yeah when the final plan for PTF is put into place she'll be very very competitive but as chris says its nav that counts. (car lit up the back wheels changing from 1st to 2nd under full traction on dry tarmac)
