Perhaps a classic car dealer has been waiting for the market to recognise this future classic

Is the concensus that £1250 is a good price for a Mk3???

Got the body kit, wonder what else it's got - £1250 is steep though - I'd say a grand max

Find another.... impossible. It's alot of cash, but I've almost been tempted by it myself as it's going to cost more to get my 360 up to scratch tbh!

What a car! 3 door GLT, looks like an original body kit, one owner, FSH, 30000 miles!

With a bit of bargaining I reckon 990 pounds would be a fair price ...

Just because it's low milage, one owner, service history etc doesn't mean there aren't things wrong with it. My 360 had just over 40k on the clock but needs just as much ongoing work as many high milage 300's.

If you walked onto the forecourt and offered them £1k cash they'd bite your hand off...

We've been seeing the price of the relatively few remaining 'clean' cars rise quite sharply recently. I guess the problem is that the cost of de-rusting a relatively scruffy car is significant, so it's much cheaper to pay £1k for a clean car (which we've seen a number of times now) than several times that on a restoration.

...of course that assumes that the 'clean' cars are as clean as they appear ;)

cheers
