Fake - F7R Motorsport Daily
I guess it depends from corners too, such tight corners like in autocross are of course bit different what I'm used to, but idea of negative camber is to keep tires from bending under rim and to keep forces evenly distributed over tire surface under cornering, but that is mostly in high speed cornering.
Hmmmmmmmmm........that'll be why J is pondering pos camber.Word is he prefers low speed corneringjtbo wrote: idea of negative camber is to keep tires from bending under rim and to keep forces evenly distributed over tire surface under cornering, but that is mostly in high speed cornering.

hehe, sven you can keep your permanent negative camber and when you hit some slippy stuff on a corner and the thought crosses your mind that you wished a little more tyre was in contact with the road then you can warm me up a shandy and I'll promise to not say I told you so
lol
On another note, most of this is of little consequence as if you're going the correct speed one wheel should always be lifting off the ground!

As for liftin' a wheel speak to FJ-levitation is a widely underrated skill.
Thanks for listening.

Right, got some extracts from the route book, they are quite big I'm afraid, but should mean people can follow them if they want to.
The test in the vid is test 4, so you can see what it looks like on paper. Luckily they ditched test 19

Well... there was another slalom this weekend, and Foggy was superbly awesome in delivering me 2 wheels I'd left up there so I didn't have to kill my road tyres.
But... come Sunday morning, I bailed. It had been raining the previous 3 days, and I know I'm not good at slowing when I'm on any kind of track. As Fake's still my daily, I can't afford to stuff it too hard.
I just spoke to one of the guys who went, he wrote off his mates 205. Out of 15 entries, 5 write offs, the banger track had oil on it, and with the water from the previous few days still flooding bits. Ouch all round!
I was really annoyed at the time, Sunday was bright sun here, so I took the car out for a mini photo shoot, I'll post a piccy up later!
