Thats very interesting. I think I will consider this myself as I've already fitted new calipers nad have loads of pads in stock.
I'v pm'ed you with my ideas on using 240 front end stuff.

Cheers Dai.That makes some very interesting reading.I've got some great plans for my little 340.I'm thinking of trying to replicate the 363cs lookwise but not the running gear.Another reason for adapting the 240 bits is that I bought a 240 Torslanda for a tenner a couple of weeks back and I noticed the wheels are the spitting image of the 363's wheels.

Ok heres the plan.
340 3dr shell,in CS colour scheme with the arches too.
2.3i or 2.5i NA 16 V on MS,moved rearward to improve wieght distribution.
Paddle clutch,lightened flywheel.
Ford type 9 close ratio,straight cut gearbox or Getrag 265.
Bespoke prop.
240 1031 Axle,6 linked LSD,5.1 Ratio.
Capri tank in boot
240 Brakes all round.
How do like them apples?
