Thanks for that, James. Meintag, that means you'll need to keep the compressor bracket (unless you want to ditch the PAS too 8) )

If I can find a spare here in a junkyard you don't need to send it ! If I can't you will be noticed, hehe

The PAS is a must IMO

Hmmm, not too sure that would work. That'd mean either you or I would be without a PAS bracket for a while - so either the car is undriveable until the replacement arrives or the PAS pump would need to be removed, the system possibly needing a refill afterwards.

Somehow I don't think you'll be that lucky in a scrapyard! I'll put in a request for a PAS bracket (non-aircon) in the "demand" section, so you'd be able to swap the brackets over straight away ...

There's a couple of non-aircon PAS brackets in scrappies near me. Shall I enquire about price when I go there on Saturday? It's no bother as I was going there anyway to pull a 240 gearbox.
