its the way forwards for lots of things THESE days, but until 5 years ago diesel engines were generally crap. take ages to start up, smell crap, are noisy, are slow.. etc...

modern diesels are nice thou, all the power is low down, so just put your foot down and the torque does everything else. the new 5-series td (3 litre) pushes 220 bhp, yet still does 40mpg COMBINED, carrying a weight of the best part of 2 tonnes! incredible (0-60 is 7 secs btw)

I was reading about the new 3 series actually... and strangely quite like it (I normally hate BMWs). My mates Dad had a 320td Estate, that went and it's a few years old now! They've certainly come along way in the recent years.

5lab, i dont really know because i have my car at my uncle's place ..... he owns a whole CAR REPAIR SHOP!! and then when it's summer and i'm off from school i'm gonna go and tune it up! my car was actually my grandpa's old car, but now he's dead.... :cry: he was a cool guy like me..... but anyway, any tips???????? :lol:

if its a non-itallian 360 thn it should have a 2litre engine (petrol) and non-automatic

you can apparently get 360 varios over there, with th 1.4 engine

Interesting! I've also seen a 360 diesel in a brochure - presumably a 'badging up' of a 340D
