I seem to have entered a strange universe after opening this thread

The universe is indeed a strange place.

Anyway, I have successfully sourced a gasket at a very reasonable cost from DafHobby and it is now fitted. I am very pleased, it is running so much better and with more power and more responsiveness. The old gasket was shot and looked like it had been for years.
