volvo 340 maybe a 360

hi all im on the lookout for a 340 it has to be the 1.7l, pref a 3 door but maybe a 5door, with tax and mot, and needs to be 500 or less, maybe a 360 if they do a 1.7l?

All 1.7s were 340s. I take it you want to do the renault 16v engine swap?

this isnt a 1.7.. but it is SOLID and is ideal for a conversion - have a look

o rite i thoughthey did a 1.4 340, have i been a nood? :oops: lol, and not really planning on an engoen conversion, its just i have a sierra and they want 3 grand to insure that or £316 for these, ive always thought there cool and kinda wanted to try one so now seems like the time

1.4 and 1.7 are 340's. both Renault engined.

360 is a 2.0. Volvo engined mate.

Nicer to drive than a sierra in my considered opinion. CVHs are better on fuel than 300s, and sierras are a bit more plush and modern feeling. But the steering of a 340 is much more communicative and they're lighter too.

and the 300s are so much cheaper to insure for me anyways, 2.5k for the sierra oe 347 pound for a 300 tbh im glad the insurance was to high on the sierra cos it got me looking at 300's
