Yeah, I'll check it over with parents tonight, as either that or Kar will be left on the drive. If I do, I think Fake will have to go, it's not running atm (I left it for 10 months without starting it... now it doesn't, and I havn't played properly) Any one wants Fake, it's theres, or it will prolly have to be stripped.
All provisional atm

Thanks to Hugh for the tip off, I now have three 300's!! New GLT got picked up on Sat, and has already done 350ish miles (it's getting worked on over the summer, along with Kar). Have some pictures as Hugh requested!!

Can anyone wise and knowledgable tell me how much of a pain those lost two pics will be to solve? Or how I can go about finding out (go on.. tell me to take it to a garage, not for the first time do I feel I might be getting out of my league)

first off give it a good polish to get it red again. as i've said before, i strongly reccomend a argos orbital polisher.
later pictures may be doable by yourself, depends on severity. sand down the metal (electric sander is handy until every last bit of rust, however small is gone, then use filler to build it up again. finally paint the last area. if the rust is really bad, it might be better to cut a bit out of a good car, then get someone to weld it nicely into place on yoru car. pete's old car might be a good place to start?

Watch it Mick!!! I did warn you it was pink
And I'm not sure about the whole structual ness of that point Hugh, so I don't think filler would be the option, I was thinking something would have to be welded in, but I might just get a garage to look at it.

Chris,
Good work, a nice collection is building, I may be changing mine drastically soon, three to go, and now with a 1.4 Vario, the possibility of a 1.7 GLE and of course my 2.0 GLT, it's getting a little more diversified.
Anyway, my G reg 360 GLT has the beginnings of something similar to your rust problems on the rear wheelarch. Currently it's no longer than 10 - 15 mm, but it is actually all the way through. So, the plan was to cut the required section from a spare and get my Uncle, who's a professional welder to let it in. There are uses for filler, but I'd rather replace the rest of it with metal, treat it and hopefully make it last. If you want to get a section from a scrapper, I'll speak to my Uncle and see if he'd be able to do both. It looks like someone has had a go at repairing the sill on your car. Any idea how good it is?
Looks like it's all there. What's the mileage? With a little bit of work you'll have a nice GLT there mate.
Pete
