f7p idling at 2.5k rpm after wheel spin

this is the second time this has done this after a big wheelspin then it idles at 2.5k unless i switch it off and back on. icv? i think my icv is already damaged but would this be causing this?

Yes, it's possible. Is your ICV plumbed into the main air filter or a separate little one?

Sounds like you're missing the speed sensor on the back of the clocks

its got like its own seperate one. it still says how fast im goin or is that not what the speed sensor does?

Noo, the speed sensor tells the ecu when you return to idle so it can stabilise the idling speed.. it's a 3 wire gizmo attached to the back of the speedo next to the cable

This. It goes on the back of your speedo to sense if you are doing any speed at all. It's not a standard item so if you don't know what we're on about you probably don't have one.

The clio management also needs the ICV to be plumbed into the same air feed as the main filter, the main draw gives a slight decrease in air pressure. Try taking your small filter off and putting your hand part way over the pipe, see if the rev's drop.

Mine has always had a speed sensor and still did this until I put the two pipes into the same filter, though I know it gets upset without that too.
