I'll see if I can dig out the parts listings and post them as I sort them out.

Got a GSF in my 1.4, was 40 quid, and has lasted 40,000miles. I think Andy, Pettaw was saying that for a 60, the Volvo one is actually cheaper though, so worth a phone to each?

On Ebay now there is an AC green book, in English, but you'll need to search abroad. If anyone is keen and can't find it, I'll send them a link or post it up.

Andy's AC certainly made a difference at the weekend. Saturday in my car, luckily I'd moved it into the shade, so went we went out for supplies with wasn't too hot, windows down, get up to speed. Where as on Sunday, it was cook for a minute or two, Andy had trouble holding the steering wheel it was that hot, then the AC cooled it down no end.

Cheeky g*t, I was half tempted to snipe that book!!! Not to worry, I don't think I'm going to bother anymore, since I know of some local versions!

Ok after today 36 degrees  - A/C is becoming essential - I spend most of my working time in my 360

I would be better off driving an oven to work

Was quoted £145 for the Volvo rad - GSF sell it for half that... Have people had poor results from pattern radiators - i.e. overheating or failure?

ECP's one is a Nissens rad, and apparently they don't have the best reputation.

I put a genuine one in after reading some of the stories.

Having said that I'm sure it would be fine, but I didn't want to take the chance whilst the genuine ones are still available and for similar reasons to 990.

The one with the extra bush for the thermostat in the bottom on A/C 360s sadly isn't available anymore. Apparently I got the last one in the UK, probably the world.

I stand corrected

I was thinking of something else. Apparently Nissens are OE for some makes of car, but Valeo I think makes Volvo's ones.

In my case it was AWFUL result - lasted hmm not long and cooling efficency was not great. It didn't fit (I had to modify it to go on)!!

Volvo rad - 15 minutes to fit and guage sits at around 1/4 - excellent cooling - worth the extra cash IMO

thats not right.... it's supposed to be in the middle, at any circumstance except warmup. perhaps your thermostat is defective?

Nope nothing wrong with the thermostat - it just took a week to recover from the shock of the cooling improving so dramatically - last time I saw her she was almost at the middle
