You can choose english for the interface texts now.
there are also a number of 'styles' available for the board.
We are thinking about including 1 or 2 english-spoken subforums.
(not meant as competition for V3M but to improve exchange of information, links, etc)
For the users that already had an account at the old forum; you will have to reset your password to log in again. Instructions can be found on the login pages.

Coincidentally, I PM'ed with Bob Scrivens at the community/support board when I was looking for information on the transfer of users/messages to the new board.
He is admin of the VOC board (perhaps website too?) and he recommended the software to me as being very good.
The import of the old users and messages went reasonably well, (some minor issues but we're OK) so no information/attachments etc were lost.
We are still in the process of tweaking the settings, helping the users to reactivate their accounts etc.
The next phase will be to make some changes to the forums division, and to improve the graphics side of things.
My current favourite is the 'soft blue' style, because is resembles the colour scheme of the V3C web site itself. It's quite light and friendly to the eyes, however the colour teint might not be to everyone's liking.
I am also looking for a skin that resembles our horrible old discus forum
for those idiots with nostalgic sentiments
in the end we plan to keep 2 to 3 styles optional

Hello Dai,
sorry if the email was incomprehensible to you,
the english-speaking users is the biggest reason to post the announcement here too
luckily you can set the language in te bottom left corner of the main screen.
Then try to login, you will receive an error message. in the error message theres a link to a page were you can reset your password:
http://forum.volvo300club.nl/login.php?do=lostpw
once you have received your new password by email you should be able to log in and change the password back to one you can remember.
you can also set the forums to display in English as long as you are logged in.
good luck!

Thanks
I'll back on the site in the next couple of days. I've missed quite a bit on both sites.
