car damage

Post by pyro »

having jus come back from a field trip thingy with uni, i find a nice note under the door saying - please contact wheetwood police station re: damage to your car, i go and have a look and find some little turn has thought it highly amusing to put a brick through the windscreed, im assuming the insurance wil pay for it cos if not im gonna be skint for a long while! so yea slightly peeved cos i was looking forward for a nice blast round some backroads, but could be up to 3 weeks before ne thing happens

well ive no idea why i jus typed that, so ill get back to drinki......... erm working hard

Well if your looking for a new windscreen, get several quotes, they can vary dramatically. Someone posted about theirs recently, but I'm not sure who. I want to say Pete...

What complete and utter ********s! Not what you need. Did the Police do anything to secure the car or prevent the wet getting in at all?

Yeah t'was me with regards to a windscreen. Make sure the person doing the replacement is used to the old school non bonded screens on a rubber with trims. Otherwise they'll make a mess of it and it'll leak and they'll break the trims which are no longer available to buy! I had a top chap do mine, he did a grand job.

Lets hope Karma catches up with the scum that did it.........

Sounds about right, leave it to get vandalised even more, wet and anything in it nicked! But at least it seems as though they caught them, so that'll be the super harsh punishment of sent to bed with no tea then, or a £5 fine and 20 minutes community service, that neither are followed through and pursued if not adhered to? Scum....

If it was raining, you'd have thought the least the police could do would be to put a sheet over the window. Lets hope they do have the right people, you'd better get down there and chuck the brick back at the yobs :P

True, I don't understand what he is trying to do, push release and pull, turb mag around slam back in and tap to make sure it is well on place, he needs some practice.

I did saw also clip from Glock 18, shot 100 round mag empty in 6 seconds  No need to afraid hitting anything that is bit farther though, but would work against vandals
