My 760.

Given the VOC is down I am touting this car on several Volvo forums.

As some people may now be aware I have decided it is time to move on from my 760 modifying.
Thus my 760GLT is now up for grabs. I will sell it whole if someone wants it, or I will break it for spares if there is more interest that way. I will also be disposingof my entire collection of spares and sundry 7/900 series parts.

For details of the car itself please see this thread;
http://forums.turbobricks.com/showthread.php?t=72756

The car currently has an MOT until early June, but has no tax.

If it gets broken then the list of bits available is as follows.

All normal 1988 760 bits (lights, interior, body panels, diff etc) plus;

I'm taking a break for the time being whilst I reorganise my house/drive etc.

I've reached a point with the 760 where in order to keep it I have to spend a fair bit to take it to the next level and I don't think it's the right time for me to do so.

Thus it has to go, either to someone who wants an unusual car or a project base, or in pieces. Either way it's time to move on.

Must say if I hadn't bought the S40 and this came up back then, it would be tempting not to - just for that glorious noise!

Good luck with the sale, Rupert - have you tried Retro Rides? I reckon it'd go down well there... maybe a sound clip would help ;)

Of course you could always buy the engine, bellhousing, wiring loom and ECU's and finally make that 360 of yours fast.........

or you could go all barry and buy a clio 1.2, does 45-60 mpg just what you need especially with rising fuel costs!

A hummer on LPG would be cheap to run. Dai, I'm going to be wanting a kit before the end of the year, how big a tank can you get into a 40?
