From memory it can be adjusted on the hand brake lever. Where the cable comes through you can tighten the nut (10 mm?) to pull more tension on the cable.

Have you taken the trim off to get to it?

hi,
If you get under the car, you will see the handbrake cable going into a clamp which then goes to both back wheels,

O--------------------handbrake cable

abit like that ^ haha
anyways, where the handbrake cable goes into this clamp its held by a nut, just tighten that up a bit. be carefull not to overtighten it though.
Hope this helps

you should be able to tighten it without jacking the car up, i did mine and my car is lowered as well.
its above the gearbox, if you reach under the car from the right hand side that is where you will see it.
hope you get it sorted

always adjust the rear shoes before adjusting cable

i thought the shoes were self adjusting on the ratchet mechanism?

theres no adjusment on these. the cable is the only adjusting point.

This is how I have learned it too, not sure about first ones, though. Those could have been different as self adjusting was new thing at some point in history
