I have just been at the local scrap yard and noticed there was a 340 with a spoiler is this a sports package lol + how hard is it to get off or do you have to take the boot with it, sorry if this is in the wrong section am a newbie CHEERS JOE

heyhey and welcome!

if you open the boot and look at either side underneath there should be 4 nuts, 2 either side, undo these and the spoiler should come off, to refit you need to drill holes in the boot lid in the right place (there might be a template about somewhere?!)
i might be wrong on this as i dont have one, im working off memory off this forum, have a search and there could be some good info on it.

mk2 hatch and saloon spoiler are 4 nuts
mk3 hatch spoiler is 5 nuts (2 on each side and 1 in the middle)

some are glued into place making it harder to remove..

This is worth due note.
A few have taken petrol, a heat gun, and a burly man stood on the bootlid puffing and panting with all his might before it finally gave way and he fell off the car.

So they can be stuck firmly dude.

try a piece of fishing wire to cut trough it, usually goes quite easy

Failing that, 0.8mm MiG wire is quite effective at cutting windscreen bond so should be up to it for a spoiler too lol.
