Spring cups, standard size/fit 85' 340 1.4

Cant find em, tried and tried - on hour 13 of the search for parts and no cups in sight shock: .
Anyone managed to source them or get them made or make them??? have everything else lined up for a near complete restoration that will be completed someday, this ones a keeper, reliable, comfortable, endlessly practical... sm6 sm6 sm6

- so many so called volvo enthusiast forums dont have any 300 section, loads of parts for everything else from the 60-s to present but a big gap round the 300's... why is that? I reckon it's been "banned" for being too good :lol: and putting other cars completely to shame... sm26

1988 340 1.4 GL, 218k, 5 door (Grey Bess). Gone to CBA.
1991 340 1.7 GL, 64k, 5 door, petrol blue (Deep Blue).
1988 360 2.0 GLE, 140k, 5 door, ocean blue metallic (Blue Bess).
1989 340 1.7 GL, 108k, 3 door (Red Ness).

looks like they have run out, everyone has run out.

I'm going to approach an engineering works, see if they'll copy one for me - means taking it off the car and cycling to the engineers...
If anyone has a source for these it would be invaluable, otherwise i'm afraid another MOT is impossible without getting parts made.

Does anyone have a part number or source for a strut top bearing that will fit my 300?
I'm considering learning swedish to help me find parts.

I got some a while back from part numbers supplied by Tom.

Strut top bearing.... struggling to remember where I got mine 5 years ago.... I think it was offered to me by the spares shop when I got the new strut inserts!

You can tell by the way I dont crash into a ditch I got new strut mounts and ma' bearin's fit.... :mrgreen:
